September 14th: Mr. Ronald Desparois presented his technical conference on the air distribution in data centers to 175 members and guests of the Montreal Chapter of ASHRAE. The presentation was greatly appreciated by those presents. Mr. Desparois with humour, charm and charisma that characterizes him, presented the history of the raised floors and the evolution of the cabinet loads. He resumed the air distribution theory, he spoked in detail about the reality of today’s raised floor and finalized with the market trends in terms of air distribution in data centers. The participants got the answer to the question launched from the first moment of the speech: are the raised floors disappearing?
